Dr. Mullane is a licensed naturopathic doctor, the Director of Nutrition for Vejo, and the Medical Director for Vejo+. A graduate of Bastyr University’s Naturopathic Medicine Program and a member of both the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the California Naturopathic Doctor’s Association, she completed a residency focused in rheumatology in Lansing, Michigan. She utilizes biochemistry, genetics, behavioral change, medical history and member-specific goals to create a truly personalized program for each member. A strong proponent of education and self-advocacy, Dr. Mullane, ND believes in providing easy-to-follow and meaningful treatment plans to encourage members to feel empowered in their healthcare.
Makenna started her career in healthcare branding and communications in the Bay Area, then went on to co-found the San Diego healthcare-focused agency, BLDG Health. There, she managed all operations and accounts in the diagnostic, medical device, and pharmaceutical sectors. Makenna’s passion for food and wellness led her out of the agency life and into nutrition. While earning her Master of Science in Nutrition, she developed a new appreciation for chemical reactions, metabolic pathways, and that elusive beast, equilibrium. Makenna holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from UC Berkeley and a Master of Science in nutrition from Bastyr University. She is a registered dietitian nutritionist and former collegiate MVP rugby player and coach.
Nicole Visnic is a seasoned clinical nutritionist with a proven track record of helping clients achieve their health and performance goals. She has worked with over 2,000 client on goals ranging from optimizing body composition to resolving health complaints like fatigue and digestive issues. She uses customized nutrition and lifestyle programs along with innovative motivational strategies to help her clients adhere to their programs and feel their best. She has spent a significant portion of her career working with professional athletes spanning across leagues such as the NFL, NBA, MLB, and USATF, as well as helping athletes prepare for the Olympics. Her nutritional approach is designed to keep athletes as durable, resilient, and healthy as possible under intense training demand. She earned her bachelor's degree in health education from Winona State University and her master's degree from University of Bridgeport in human nutrition and is a certified clinical nutritionist.
Dr. Joy Bozzo, ND is one of our licensed naturopathic doctors serving Vejo+ Santa Monica. A graduate of National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon, Dr. Bozzo, ND is a member of both the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the California Naturopathic Doctor’s Association. She has over six years of clinical experience focusing on autoimmunity, digestive issues and hormone imbalances. She utilizes nutrition, lifestyle modifications, mindset adjustments, and specific naturopathic modalities to create individualized nutrition-focused programs that support the body’s natural healing ability. She feels passionate about providing a space for all her patients to feel heard, validated, and supported in reaching their performance or wellness goals.
Dr. Sandy Lê, ND is a licensed naturopathic doctor for Vejo+. With a strong interest in integrative wellness, sports medicine, and women’s health, she works with a variety of patients and many professional athletes including NBA, NFL and Olympic athletes. She applies an integrative approach to optimize health, performance, and recovery. She works collaboratively with a team of doctors and nutritionists to tailor treatment plans based on the patient’s needs. Her focus is to help each patient and athlete reach their fullest potential while treating any health issues. Dr. Lê, ND is a Los Angeles native and a graduate of UCLA and the National University of Natural Medicine. She completed a residency focused in primary care and family medicine in Portland, OR. She is a member of the California Naturopathic Doctors Association and served on the executive committee working to improve patient access to integrative medicine. Additionally, she was a Taekwondo competitor and holds a 2nd Dan black belt.
Leah Tsui is one of our Vejo+ registered dietitians. She attended the University of Southern California, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in human biology with an emphasis on nutrition and metabolism. Pursuing her nutrition studies further, she went on to graduate from Drexel University with a Master of Science in human nutrition and completed her dietetic internship at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Los Angeles, serving veterans with complicated disease states. Leah is passionate about sports nutrition and has worked with the USC athletics department as well as NFL hopefuls at the Baylor Sports & Performance Center. She believes in uncomplicating nutrition so everybody can make informed moves towards monumental and lasting change.
